We are 1st Little Paxton Scout Group. We are part of the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation. We offer young people fun and challenging activities, unique experiences everyday, adventure, and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact on our local community. We are at the heart of our community and Our group is part of a network of scout groups within St Neots, and the county.

Ages 4-6 Mondays 16:30 – 17:30

Squirrels Home Page

Our Squirrel Scouts are the youngest section in the Scouting family. Squirrels get to be active, explore nature and have fun learning outdoors with friends, like all other Scouts. Being a Squirrel Scout is all about fun and friendship while growing and learning. Our Squirrel Scouts meet weekly during term time to take part in a wide range of activities.

Ages 6–8, Wednesdays 17:30-18:45

Beavers Home Page

Our Beaver Scouts meet weekly during term time to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities. They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

Ages 8-10½, Wednesdays 19:00-20:30

Cubs Home Page

Our Cub Scout Pack can is split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Camps and adventurous activities are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

Ages 10½–14, Mondays 19:00-21:00

Scouts Home Page

Our Scout Troop consists of small units of six to eight Scouts called a Patrol, led by a Patrol Leader. Outdoor activities feature prominently, with the highlight being camping. Throughout the year, Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for camp. Rock climbing, gliding, photography and international experiences are just some of the things they get up to.

(Ages 14-24)

We welcome young people aged 14-18 to complete their DofE volunteering section with us in our Squirrels, Beavers, Cub and Scout sections. We can accommodate the Bronze, Silver and Gold volunteering timescales.
